Saar
Verse & Reflection
Last updated 18 May 2026
Saar is built to be a quiet, private space. We do not run servers that store your reading history, we do not have user accounts, and we do not sell or trade your information. This page explains, in plain language, the very small amount of data the app does touch and why.
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any other personal identifier. The app has no sign‑up screen. We do not use third‑party analytics, advertising SDKs, attribution trackers, or fingerprinting libraries. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
To make the app feel like yours, Saar saves a small amount of state locally on your iPhone:
This data lives in your device’s local storage. If you uninstall Saar, the local copy is removed by iOS along with the app.
If iCloud is enabled on your Apple devices, Saar uses Apple’s key‑value store to keep your streak, favourites, and progress in sync across your iPhones and iPads. This data is end‑to‑end controlled by Apple under your iCloud account. We cannot see it, and there is no Saar server it passes through. Reminder times stay on the device that set them.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. When you subscribe or buy the lifetime plan, Apple shares a receipt with our subscription provider, RevenueCat, so the app knows that your premium features should be unlocked. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier, the product purchased, and the receipt from Apple. It does not receive your name, email, or device identifiers from us. RevenueCat’s use of this data is covered by their own privacy policy, linked above.
Apple itself collects the information needed to bill and support your purchase under Apple’s standard App Store privacy practices.
If you turn on daily reminders, Saar schedules local notifications on your device through iOS. These notifications never leave your phone. We do not use push notifications, and Saar does not run a notification server.
iOS may share crash logs and basic performance data with Apple, and a summary of those with us as the developer, if you have agreed to “Share with App Developers” in your iPhone’s Privacy & Security settings. These reports are aggregated by Apple and do not identify you personally. You can turn this off at any time in iOS settings.
Saar is suitable for general audiences and contains reflective content drawn from a religious text. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There is no way for a user to share personal information through the app.
Because almost everything Saar saves lives on your own device, you are in direct control of it. You can reset your progress and preferences by deleting and reinstalling the app. To remove iCloud‑synced data, sign in at iCloud.com or in your iPhone’s Apple ID settings and manage your iCloud storage. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple ID subscription settings.
The minimal data exchanged with RevenueCat and Apple may be processed on servers outside your country. By using Saar, you understand that this limited processing may happen wherever those providers operate.
If we ever change how Saar handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. The previous version remains in our public source history. Continued use of Saar after a change means you accept the updated policy.
If you have a question or concern about privacy, write to us at support@arhmjn.com. We read every message.
